In March 2017,  Elsa Hoffman travelled to Lilongwe, Malawi to collaborate with Malawian painter, Michael Kapalamula on a decorative sign for the entrance of the new UNC Project Annex building.  In one month, Hoffman and Kapalamula designed, fabricated and installed a 25’x5’ plasma cut stainless steel mural.
